Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Lead based in Chennai. The Technical Lead will oversee daily technical operations, lead a team of developers, and ensure the quality of project deliverables. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable software solutions, managing system integrations, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

 Technical Development:

• Architect, design, and develop scalable and high-performance web applications using React.js and Node.js.
•  Ensure code quality, testability, and maintainability across projects.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance team productivity.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across the frontend and backend.

Project Management:

•  Oversee project timelines, scope, and deliverables while ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and solutions effectively with stakeholders.
• Ensure that technical documentation is up-to-date and comprehensive.

Team Leadership & Management:

•  Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Delegate tasks and provide technical guidance to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product management, etc.) to drive technical solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in full-stack web development, with a strong focus on React.js and Node.js.
• Proven experience in managing and leading development teams.
• Expertise in building responsive, user-friendly front-end applications and scalable backend systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

Soft Skills:

•  Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive approach to leadership, mentoring, and team development.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
